Preparing for Hurricane Matthew – Closed 10/6 – 10/8
The Mustard Seed of Central Florida Prepares for Hurricane Matthew
A hurricane warning was recently issued by the National Weather Service for Florida up to the Flagler/Volusia county line. As Hurricane Matthew approaches, please take care to prepare yourself, home, and family for the storm. Please also remember to prepare any donations you may have for The Mustard Seed of Central Florida (TMS).
TMS provides furniture and clothing to individuals who have losses due to natural disasters. As a precaution, TMS is working to prepare its warehouse for any individuals who will need our services after Hurricane Matthew leaves us.
“The donations you provide will assist us in helping households in need,” says Kathy Baldwin, Executive Director of TMS. “Our vision is to achieve restored dignity and self esteem for those in need, enabling them to move ahead to take control of their futures.”
Note: For the safety of our clients, donors, volunteers, and staff, the facility will be closed on Thursday (10/6), Friday (10/7), and Saturday (10/8).
- To donate money, furniture, household items, or clothing, please donate now, call 407-875-2040 or drop them off at our warehouse (12 Mustard Seed Lane, Orlando, FL 32810) beginning Monday, 10/10.
