A Reunion for Natasha

“It’s never too hard…it’s never too late to get over something holding you back.” Natasha, a mother to 7 children ranging in age from 2-13 years old, has overcome huge hurdles to get custody of her children back. Natasha and her children were forced to move to Orlando last year after a fire in her breaker box in her Ocala home. They lived in the home for over a year with no power. Addiction finally pushed them to Orlando, where the family experienced homelessness before Natasha lost custody of her children.

“Some people might be your angels, you never know.” After completing rehabilitation, Natasha was able to attain stable housing as a step towards getting custody of her kids back.  She realized she needed to furnish her home and reached out to The Mustard Seed of Central Florida for help. While she was excited not to sleep on the floor anymore, she was most excited that the 21 pieces of furniture she received from us were going to help her reunite with her children.

You can help reunite families separated by tragedy, like Nataha’s, by supporting The Mustard Seed today. Click here to donate now!
