Donate Furniture & Clothing

Thank you Central Florida for your support! The Mustard Seed has a high volume of pickups and deliveries. Our pickups are based on zip code and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.  Depending on demand, pickups are booked two to four weeks out. So please call well in advance of your desired pickup time frame. Our pickup service is limited to the Orlando region. We pick up within a 25-mile radius of our facility in the Maitland/Eatonville area. You may also drop off your donations at our facility at 12 Mustard Seed Lane, Orlando, FL 32810.

Thank you so much for thinking of The Mustard Seed of Central Florida!  We appreciate your donations, which help lift individuals and families out of crisis.  The Mustard Seed of Central Florida depends on the individuals who donate furniture and clothing so we may continue to serve people in need. Furniture and clothing donations help to restore hope, dignity and stability. See below for ways to donate furniture and clothing.

The Mustard Seed provides furniture pick-up for donors with large furniture items. We ask for an optional $25 donation to help offset our fuel costs.

Note: Donations should be free of rips, peeling leather, stains, damage or odors.

At this time, we are unable to accept the following items:

  • Printers
  • Desks
  • Office chairs
  • Armoires, china cabinets and wall units
  • Large entertainment center
  • Headboards and footboards

Please note:

  • There is a $20 stair fee applied to every floor The Mustard Seed furniture movers must ascend to secure your donations.
  • There is a $10 recycling fee for mattresses and box springs that have rips, stains or other damage and can’t be redistributed.
  • We do ask our furniture donors to make a suggested donation of $25. It is not required for the furniture pick-up and donors are welcome to give as much or as little as they’d like. The Mustard Seed only asks that you give based on your means and the value that you place on the services we provide to the needy in our community.

Donation Drop Off

The Mustard Seed welcomes donors who would prefer to drop off their donations. Donors may donate furniture and clothing at The Mustard Seed warehouse Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  and every second Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Schedule a “Junk In The Trunk”

If your workplace would like to hold a donation drive, The Mustard Seed would be more than happy to schedule a “Junk In The Trunk” to collect your gently used furniture, housewares and clothing donations. If you would like to schedule a “Junk In The Trunk,” please call (407) 875-2040 Ext. 110
