The Mustard Seed of Central Florida is the region’s only furniture and clothing bank, providing basic household necessities to those emerging from homelessness, personal tragedy, natural disaster, or other situations of crisis. The effects of Hurricane’s Milton and Helene have been far reaching, and The Mustard Seed is here to help those in need.
To qualify for our furniture program, you must:
- Have stable housing that is remediated from the effects of storm damage. Some resources that may be able to help include FEMA, or reaching out to Heart of Florida United Way.
- Complete a home visit with a case manager. This can be done virtually with our case management team by emailing casemanager@mustardseedfla.org, or by reaching out to one of our referral agencies.
Once a home visit has been completed, you may call our office at 407-875-2040×114 to schedule an appointment. For more information about being a recipient of our furniture program, click here.
Our clothing program is open 9am-3pm, Monday through Friday, and does not require a referral. To find out more information about our clothing program, click here.
