A Bed for Alberic

When Alberic lost his job in March of 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the financial strain led to him living in his car for the last several years. He struggled to transition into an apartment due to extenuating circumstances and spent the last several months at the Coalition for the Homeless. “It felt like every step I tried to make forward, I kept getting denied.” Alberic was finally approved for an apartment and came to The Mustard Seed to receive all the furniture he needed to make his house into a home.

When asked what he was most excited to receive, Alberic responded, “A bed! I’m so tired of sleeping on the floor.”

In total, Alberic received 19 pieces of furniture from The Mustard Seed.

It is through the support of the community that The Mustard Seed is able to help individuals like Alberic. Click here to donate to support those in transition who are emerging from crisis.
